Live Q&A with WAGPET and AMA WA
Posted on 7th Apr 2020
Understanding employment rights at a practice - from both the employer and registrar perspective - is vital right now. So too is understanding how to manage the shifts in patient numbers as the community adjusts into the COVID-19 environment.
Join us and the AMA WA for a Live Q&A this Thursday, 9 April at 12:30pm. Join via Zoom here or dial into the meeting on (08) 7150 1149 and enter the meeting ID: 851 501 449 when prompted.
You can get ahead of the session and submit your question to email@example.com and we’ll answer it directly via email and also respond to it at the Q&A.

Confidential support for WA doctors
We are in times that are throwing up many personal and professional challenges for doctors.
Doctors' Health Advisory Service WA (DHAS WA) is a confidential service for doctors and other health workers, DHAS WA host an advice line for doctors who need support, triage or access to care. The advice line is staffed 24/7 by GPs experienced in doctors' health with psychiatry support.
We recommend you see your own GP if you are feeling distressed. If you're having difficulties finding the right GP for you, visit the DHAS WA website. They have a Doctors for Doctors list with the names and details of GPs who are willing and able to treat doctor patients. Click here to view the list.
You can also find COVID-19 specific information on the DHAS WA website. Click here to learn more.
If you have any questions or concerns about the impacts of COVID-19 on GP training, please call your program training advisor. We are here 7am – 7pm to help you.
